Westridge

Westridge, located in La Habra, California, is a 400-acre master-planned neighborhood with 400 residences surrounded by an 18-hole golf course and the Westridge Golf Club. This is a planned luxury house complex located between Orange County and downtown Los Angeles.

Westridge Country Club

Westridge Golf Club provides an enjoyable and productive day on their golf course, where you can tee off against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains. The throng, packed streets, and fast pace of Southern California sometimes hide the region’s natural beauty. The view west from the front entrance of the clubhouse covers many ridges, culminating in a spectacular skyline of Downtown Los Angeles. The perspective to the north shows the uplands of La Habra Heights and the rising San Gabriel Mountains beyond. Westridge Golf Club’s simple elegance will provide the right setting for any event, with its stunning views and well-equipped banquet hall. Weddings, banquets, tournaments, philanthropic events, business meetings, luncheons, and other special events are all possible.

The Golf Course

Only a few golf course designers have created a more enduring legacy than Robert Muir Graves, whose incredible body of work spans a 50-year career. Graves is credited with the creation of several well-known California courses, including La Purisima, Boundary Oak, and Quail Lodge Golf Club. He primarily created courses on the West Coast, although he also designed courses in Portugal.

Graves was a well-known golf course architect who served as President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) in 1974-75 and co-authored Golf Course Design and Classic Golf Hole Architecture with Geoffrey Cornish. Graves worked with protégé Damian Pascuzzo, a renowned architect, on Westridge Golf Club.

All of this was considered by architects Robert Muir Graves and Damian Pascuzzo when building one of Orange County’s most famous courses. The challenges at Westridge Golf Club include more than 60 sand bunkers defending fairways and greens, a ravine that cuts through the 5th fairway, water hazards on holes 7, 9, and 13, sloping greens that mirror the rolling terrain, and uphill and downhill approaches that require instinctive club selection. The diversified landscape and Pacific breezes produce subtle difficulties that reward golfers of all skill levels. The course’s elevation provides expansive views of Orange and Los Angeles counties, as well as the nearby towering San Gabriel Mountains, while natural flowers and wildlife provide privacy. Westridge Golf Club was recently named the 2012 Best of La Habra in the public golf course category. We are conveniently located near three major freeways: the Beach, the Imperial, and the Santa Monica. Westridge Golf Club, a 6,256-yard par-72 layout nestled in the hills of La Habra, California, opened in 1999.
