Vista Del Valle Park

The Vista Del Valle Park can be found on the southeastern edge of the city, just off Idaho Street. The park was first opened to the public in 1995 and encompasses a total of 26.68 acres. In addition to a gazebo and two playgrounds, the park features a breathtaking panorama over the nearby residential complex. The park is famous for its various walking paths and trails. Included in this package is a turf area with manicured planters. (Source: lahabraca.gov)

In addition to its two playgrounds, restrooms, a gazebo picnic area, barbecues, and many other amenities, the Vista Del Valle Park is a relatively new park that covers an area of around 27 acres. The breathtaking scenery, as well as the exercise walking trails, contribute to the area’s high level of popularity.

Vista Del Valle Park Trail

The Vista Del Valle Park Path is a circular trail that is approximately 1.4 kilometers in length and is located close to La Habra, California. This trail is appropriate for hikers of varying levels. The route, which is open throughout the year and is primarily used for walking and running, has a huge number of users. On this trail, dogs are allowed, but they have to be restrained with a leash at all times.

This route, which is in most cases considered to be simple, can be finished in an average of twenty minutes.

It is believed that the entire trail falls into the category of having a slope that is moderately steep (eight percent or less). Because this trail has constant parts with grades more than 5%, hikers who use strollers, wheelchairs, or other mobility devices may require help along the entirety of this path (especially if using manual equipment). Along the path, there are places to sit down and rest, such as benches and picnic tables. At the westernmost end of the route, there is a building with restrooms that are accessible for wheelchair users.

Accessibility

At the western terminus of the trail, there is a paved parking area that has one parking spot reserved just for people who require accessibility accommodations. It has a striped access aisle that makes it accessible for vans. Paved with asphalt or concrete, the surface of the trail is flat and smooth. In most cases, the width ranges from 4 to 8 feet.
