Royal Vista Golf Club

The Royal Vista Golf Club can be found in Walnut, California, quite close to the City of Industry. The location is very convenient. A fun and enjoyable round of golf can be had by players of all skill levels thanks to the course layout’s 27 holes, each of which has its own unique challenge.

The clubhouse, which is designed in the Spanish style, is an ideal location for holding events such as banquets and weddings. It is also a great place to get a bite to eat before or after a round of golf. At Royal Vista Golf Club, our trained staff will ensure that your time here is enjoyable and memorable for you and your guests. We will do everything in our power to make this happen.

The club first opened its doors in 1963 and boasted three nines that had been created by Ted Robinson Sr. It features a conventional layout with greens that are on the smaller side and fairways that are somewhat broad. In addition to that, it features a fair number of lakes and bunkers for golfers to negotiate. The North/West and West/South combinations each have a par of 71, while the South/East combination has a par 72. However, at 6,458 yards from the longest tees, the East/North course is the most difficult of the three. The course features an interesting assortment of holes, particularly among the par 3s. For example, the second hole is 210 yards long and requires players to carry over a section of a pond. The seventh hole is only 107 yards long, but there are several huge trees in the way, making the shot more difficult than the distance would indicate. In addition, Royal Vista Golf Club features a huge putting green and a driving range for its members. The spacious clubhouse is able to accommodate a variety of large events, including weddings.

The gameplay on each of the three courses is essentially identical. Rolling and varying in width from open to closed, the fairways are surrounded with trees. The elevated greens have a size and pace that are about average, and some of them are bordered by bunkers that are somewhat deep. In addition, there is water in play on certain holes, and others feature challenging dogleg designs.

The Course

The wide open fairways and small greens, bunkers, and lakes that are carefully positioned across the fifty year old course at the Royal Vista Golf Club make up the traditional design of the course’s layout. The course is designed to be difficult but still fun for players of all skill levels, from those who have just started learning the game to those who are seasoned professionals.
