Allen J. Martin Park

Allen J. Martin Park has seen significant changes in the last few years. A new community center was constructed, a splash pad was erected, the basketball court was repaired, trees were planted, and the colorful buildings represent the park’s vibrancy and range of programming.

Programs

After-School

The After School Program is designed for children in elementary and middle schools. Through social interaction and self-expression, this recreation program is intended to boost self-esteem. Homework aid, games, sports, music, computers, and arts and crafts are all available through the program.

Ballet

Ballet Dance is a curriculum for children aged 3 to 11 years old. Ballet basics will be taught to children in groups of 3-5 and 6-11.

Cheer

Participants will learn various levels of stunts, dance, and cheer methods, with the premise that safety comes first. This organization’s purpose is to give an enjoyable activity in a safe atmosphere, to help dissuade youngsters from the pressures of the street, and to assist promote self-esteem and social skills.

Computer Club

Kids are fascinated by graphics, videos, and music. The ability to produce and consume vivid images and catchy tunes makes the computer club at the Department of Parks and Recreation so much fun and gratifying. The Computer Club will keep you encouraged with the amount of creativity you can create.

County Capers

Capers is a performing arts program for children ages 4 to 17 who like singing and dancing. A huge dance and a concluding performance are among the activities. The participants put up a final performance on June 1st.

Basketball for Kids

Running, jumping, throwing, and catching are basic sports fundamentals and characteristics of play. We enable these athletic building blocks; the idea is to make it enjoyable rather than hard or stressful. This league is not competitive.

Soccer for Small Children

T-Ball for Tots

Taekwondo

Participants will gain self-esteem, confidence, self-control, and discipline by mastering the Taekwondo technique.

Club for Teens

The Teen Club provides a secure, supportive atmosphere for adolescents to come together and have fun. Teens are involved in a variety of activities such as athletics, field excursions, dances, volunteer work, homework aid, and mentoring.

Small Child

The Tiny Tot Program is designed to help the overall development of the kid. Play, language development, mathematics, music, art, social/emotional interactions, and physical health help young children learn and improve their understanding of the world.

Tumbling

Learn the fundamentals of tumbling in a correct and safe manner.

Winter Camp

Program is for boys and girls ages 6 to 12. Children will participate in games, outdoor activities, and field trips to various areas.
